  RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! These are the rudest people ever! I've gone to this spa off and on ever since they opened and they have gotten ruder over time. The last time I went, about a month ago, was the worst though. When you book a salt cave, you are told to get there 15 minutes early. I booked a salt cave for 1 p.m. Due to traffic, I didn't get there until 12:55 ... still a full five minutes before my appointment time! Nonetheless, I was given a dressing down by the owner, Jody. She was very condescending and disrespectful. I went into the salt cave ... once again, five minutes BEFORE my 1 p.m. appointment ... feeling like I was ready to cry. The whole time I was in there, I was seething with anger and humiliation. Needless to say, it was not relaxing in the least. They are snappy on the phone and nasty in person. Once in a great while, you get someone who is actually nice, but that's not the norm. They are just so not worth it, not with growing competition from other spas and King Spa in Niles and Galos Caves in Chicago. I will take my money to other spas who value my business.
  
  Maybe if you are buying pricier services such as massages or time on their zen bed or if you are purchasing one of their WAY overpriced salt lamps or the supposedly "sacred" naked tree branches they are currently selling for $150 each, they are nicer to you. I'll never know. Even if I won the lottery tomorrow, I wouldn't spend one more penny in that joint. King Spa in Niles has a salt cave too which you can sit in all day for the same price and you can buy the same $100 salt lamps on Amazon for $29 (which get great reviews for their effectiveness by the way). These people are getting rich on all the suckers out there who don't do their homework and shop around. So be it though. If that was just the case, maybe I'd still go, but being treated so rudely on top of it all is just too much. There is just no excuse for it. Like I said earlier, they are SO not worth it, especially not when you have so many other options for the very same services.
