  When my braces were removed on Oct 2012 at the Elk Grove office, this orthodontist yanked the wires out even though I wore damon braces (each brace has a door). He and his assistant laughed when I told him to be careful. It hurt so much and my gums bled! My pain was very amusing to them. Also I had (and still) have gaps. The braces were put back on June 2014 because the retainer wouldn't close the gaps. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY TO THIS ORTHODONTIST. YOU WILL BE SORRY LIKE I WAS.
  
  Update:
  The 2nd set of braces were taken off July 2015 and my teeth looked better (less gaps).
  
  I WISH THE BRACES WERE DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. The first 1st set of braces didn't include the left back tooth so it created a big gap at the back where big chunks of food get stuck. And gaps at the front (I mentioned above).
  
  He did try to correct his work in 2014 which I appreciate, but he accused me of slander after reading my review above. Who wouldn't write a bad review after going through an experience like that?
  
  I wore the braces from May 2010 to Oct 2012 then retainers then wore upper braces again from June 2014 to July 2015.
